Our intermediate/advanced retreats are designed for women who can paddle themselves out into the line-up, catch their own waves and go along a green face.

Absolutely! We designed these retreats to support people who may not be feeling 100% confident in medium-large waves or need some extra support in navigating a crowded line-up. Your coach is there with you in the water to guide you on the best place to sit, how to choose the right wave and hold your place in the line-up. If the forecast looks large we also have a range of unknown spots we can venture to that don’t get as big.

You're welcome to bring your own, but it's not essential. We have a range of boards available for use during the retreat, including longboards, shortboards.

Absolutely. Many of our guests come solo and leave with lasting friendships. The intimate group setting and shared experiences create a supportive, welcoming environment from day one.

Southern Costa Rica enjoys a tropical climate. Expect warm temperatures year-round, with the dry season running from December to April and the rainy season bringing afternoon showers from May to November. The waves are typically best during the rainy season.

We're located in Pavón, in the Puntarenas Province. The easiest route is to fly into San José, then take a domestic flight to Golfito followed by a scenic two-hour drive. We can arrange transfers and will send detailed directions once you book.
